What is a doggie spa day like at our salon?
At our spa, your dog will be pampered and showered with love! Each dog will receive a relaxing face massage during bath time, and we will ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable in our space. Connecting with the groomer is extremely important. we will take all the time we need to make sure we've got you and your dog's trust while providing exceptional service.

Dogs can be nervous while grooming for various reasons. We often see rescues being uncomfortable or uncertain with the process, which is completely understandable. If your dog has had any bad experiences in the past we make sure to understand the dog and change the way we groom them according to what they are comfortable with. we usually take an extra 30 minutes to 1 hour to make sure the process is more relaxing. We recommend any client with a nervous dog to come in every 4-6 weeks for grooming.

De-shedding
Certain breeds (Bernese mountain dog, Collie, Golden Retriever, Labrador, etc...) have an undercoat that sheds all year round, but mostly during spring and fall. It's very important to get these types of dogs groomed because if not, the undercoat can become stuck and matted. These breeds should never be shaved as this would ruin their coat. We start with a de-shedding shampoo and conditioner, saturate, and let it sit on the coat for 15 minutes. After that, we have high-velocity blow-dryers, which help push out the undercoat. Then we make sure all of it is out by thoroughly brushing and using an undercoat rake. We finish it off with a beautiful scissored tidy-up, nail trim, and shaving sanitary areas only.

We offer fur coloring! Opawz is a very pigmented and quality dye made for safely coloring pet's fur. We can meet, or message each other to discuss pricing, colors, and styles. Color must be ordered if not in stock, this could take a few weeks of wait, so please be sure to let us know ahead of time,
